i wear a high ponytail quite often, without fail. as someone with long hair, who hates it sticking to my face, this is the easiest, quickest style for me to look put together on the go. don’t get me wrong styling my hair is one of my favorite things to do but some times it’s nice to leave off the heat & give my hair a much needed break.

i like to put a lighter color in the high points of my face where the light usually hits and a darker color in the deeper parts of my face to create depth & dimension and a more snatched look overall. highlighting and contouring isn’t for everyday and can be heavy but can really transform your face when done correctly. blending is key (:

for todays hairstyle i’m using a 32 mm gold titanium bellami curling wand. i use the technique shown in the video all throughout my hair & immediately after curling a section of hair i like to hold it in my hand for a few seconds to maximize my curl. after i finish curling all of my hair i like to spray with a little bit of hairspray and separate my curls with my fingers to get the beachy wave look. this look takes me less than 10 minutes. & always make sure to use a heat protectant when using any type of heat on your hair. ?
