The louder the sound, the shorter the amount of time it takes for damage to occur! π Repeated exposure to loud sounds can cause chronic, permanent damage to the hair cells in the inner ear! The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends that people not be exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels (dB) for more than 8 hours per day! β± Wear earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones to help protect your ears from loud sounds!! π§π«Άπ»
