Someone found him in their backyard this morning almost 2 miles away and I just met w/ them and picked him up.
Gobbled up his food, got his insulin and now he's taking a nap.

Finally was getting settled in and unpacking and back into routine and last night at 5pm before it got dark my 9yr old diabetic blind/partially deaf dog got out and I couldnt find him. Still can't find him today and Im super worried but Im hoping now that its not dark someone will find him soon. He needs to eat and its been 24hrs without food and insulin and I'm a mess.
Im sorry if Im flakey, moving was supposed to be positive and it is for my family but I didnt want it to be at the risk of losing my dog either, keep us in your thoughts/prayers and Ill try to get caught up and back to 'normal' as soon as I can. Ares is my buddy and I can't function without him but Im trying and trying to remain positive that someone will find him and he will be home soon and he is safe.

Sorry to be super duper sketchy with posting, I've been so damn busy!! But for a GOOD reason. Been working on looking for/applying for a new place to live and I found out today we were approved for the house we want to rent!
This is a HUGE deal because I've been living in a super duper tiny cramped apartment that was supposed to be temporary 5yrs ago and haven't been able to get out of here. My new place has more than enough space and a gorgeous HUGE back yard!
The next 2-3 weeks I'll be busy packing/moving on my days off and trying to do this slowly so I don't have to take too much time off!

Covid is a wild ride - my fever came back, then I finally broke it again, then I had an appetite yesterday for the first time in almost 10 days. The fatigue is very very real. Super congested still especially first thing in the morning but I've been resting and sleeping as much as possible so I can get better. I'm glad my appetite is back and I'm starting to feel a bit more normal I'm so just so fucking tired.
Thank you to everyone for reaching out and all the well wishes and everyone sticking through with me. As soon as I feel up to it will absolutely be posting some content and more faptent for you guys. I'm overwhelmed with the outreach of support for everyone while I've been sick, you guys are amazing <3

Fortunately I'm feeling better, Im just very congested and my sense of smell/taste is still kind of off. My husband is still very sick and has been for over a week now.

Ive been feeling less like walking death and finally fever free for 24hrs without fever reducing medication - time to try to get back into routine! Thanks for all the well wishes - me and the 2 youngest are doing much better, my husband and teenager are still pretty sick sadly. I'm just very tired and fatigued still and have a lot of sinus BS going on but glad to be rid of that nasty fever and body aches and chills!!
