You need to embrace your life if you want to enjoy it. Being able to sit long enough with your raw emotions becomes a compass on how to improve your appreciation for the fleeting gift we are given. I don't mean just the negative ones; the positive too. Love and hate and everything you feel in between is how our soul interprets life. To understand you have to feel. To grow you have to understand. It's ugly - it's messy - IT'S WORTH IT! Take a break when you need to but don't stop. When you find peace within you then you will know you've truly come through it. Until then: we all have work to do.

I had an absolutely wonderful last minute and unfortunately last (for now I hope) shoot with W.K. Photography at the lake. While the the fisherman were not catching anything I certainly did! Apparently all you need is gorgeous golden dress to catch a fisherman! lol Don't worry; I threw him back. One of the last beautiful days left in the year and we made good use of it in my opinion.

It is humbling yet empowering to be able to see myself in such a way. I've always felt that I was very average looking and even aside of that have never put stock in to the way someone appears (except me). I know I am my own worst critic as the saying goes but it is true. My looks were not about attraction as much as accountability - the need to be good to who I am and the potential that I have stored away in this being - however much there was to discover. Even though none of that has changed, I have definitely become more confident in my being and happily spend much less time fretting in front of a mirror. Freedom is self love! Invest in who it is you want to be and not what others think for you.
