I have $1071 to go to accomplish my goal for my 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training — I’m so close!! If you decide to read my story and mission, a really big, heartfelt THANK YOU 🙏🏼 Feel free to contact me with any questions about donations. ⁣

Hello!⁣

I'm so excited to share this journey with you, and chances are, you have been on this journey with me for quite some time.⁣

My Story⁣
One year ago as the world began to shut down and countries closed their borders, I flew to the small Indonesian island of Bali. Reflecting back on it, it seems crazy that I would leave the United States to travel halfway across the world at the beginning of a global pandemic. However at the time, I had just made a monumental decision to leave my job as a speech therapist to travel the world as a cam girl. Actually, I was supposed to have flown to Spain on a one way ticket but my flight happened to be the same day that the U.S. government announced the European travel ban. I literally canceled my flight that day, and flew to Bali at midnight instead.⁣

I've often asked myself why those ten days in Bali meant so much to me. Most of you have heard me reflect on the experience, but why am I so attached to it and what has me yearning to return as soon as possible? ⁣

While traveling to Bali was a spontaneous decision, being there felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be, both externally and within. I tapped into and harnessed an internal energy that I had never felt before. I felt united in mind, body and soul. I felt present. I felt ALIVE.⁣

My Yoga⁣
I've been asked quite often how long I have been practicing yoga. I learned and studied Iyengar yoga for two years about ten years ago and had dabbled in and out of practicing usually for no longer than a month at a time. I mark my time in Bali as when my true yoga journey began, not just my physical yoga, but living the yogi lifestyle. Upon my return to the U.S., I decided to dedicate myself to the practice. I began my online 200-hour yoga teacher training -- not so much to teach as to deepen my own practice -- and I have shared much of my journey with you all online.⁣

I've created this fund to help support my 500-hour yoga teacher training back in Bali where the journey began. I have been dedicated to helping others throughout my life in various ways (e.g. speech therapy, volunteering, leading, guiding, etc.) and I've even dreamed of teaching yoga to children as a speech therapist. Now I dream of teaching yoga to people of all ages! Yoga has transformed my life, and sharing my yoga journey online has already inspired others to transform their lives in various ways.⁣

I will admit however, that while my yoga practice has improved significantly in this last year since my online yoga training, I strongly believe I require more hands on training to effectively teach and guide others in transforming their lives with yoga. I love how I have already inspired so many of you, and I can't wait to truly guide others in their yoga experience.⁣

Giving Back⁣
In addition to my OWN benefit and possibly yours in the future, I would like to give back to the country of Bali. In August 2020, a man who I had befriended in Bali named Ketut reached out to me one morning that things were not well. He was hungry. Due to lack of tourism which supports their economy, many people were (and still are) without jobs. In effort to help my friend and his country, I raised $444 that day on CB for Crisis Kitchen Bali and matched this amount for Ketut and his family. I believe it is important to give back to those who have shown you kindness and love, and in order to continue to support the people in Bali, I will contribute 10% of donations received to Crisis Kitchen Bali.⁣

If you have read this far, I deeply appreciate your time and consideration. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to reach out to me.⁣

The Details⁣

While I have not selected a program yet due to current travel restrictions, lack of information on dates and program availability, I have been keeping my eye on a short list of programs for several months. These programs are typically 6-8 weeks and cost $5,000-8,000. If I reach the cost of the program by May, I would love to register for a training that begins in November 2021 (if travel is deemed to be safe), however if everything looks better for 2022 there are several options there too!⁣

*Please note that I will NOT disclose the specific program or location for safety purposes. That being said, I am going to be more than happy to share details and photos after the program is complete!⁣
